WHO CAN APPLY TO BECOME A SPEAKERS’ BUREAU MEMBER?

Any child or adult affected with a craniofacial condition. All minors will be required to have their parent accompany them through the training process and any scheduled sessions. Children who are not able to present alone will have their parents present on their behalf.

CAN I CHOOSE TO FOCUS ON MULTIPLE AUDIENCE LEVELS?

We would like for you to start with one and reapply to earn an additional audience credential. If you feel you meet an exception please email [email protected].

WHAT CRITERIA DOES MY AUDITION EVALUATE?

Once you apply to be a member you will receive documents to review and prepare you to create a presentation that aligns with our goals and vision. Within the sheets will be the exact chart we use to evaluate school aged presentations. See below.

ONCE I BECOME A CCA SPEAKERS’ BUREAU MEMBER, AM I A MEMBER FOR LIFE?

Title will expire after 2 calendar years. If you received your title in 2024 it will expire in 2026 on your anniversary date. Leading up to your expiration date we highly recommend you submit a new audition video for review along with an additional background check to renew your membership. (Audition can be a recording of a presentation you completed.)

DOES GOLD-STATUS CERTIFIED EXPIRE?

Yes, after 3 years. You will need to submit a new audition for review, new background check, and have had 5 speaking sessions with positive feedback within those 2 years to maintain your status. (Audition can be a recording of a presentation you completed.)

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT RENEW?

Your profile will be removed from our website and you will be placed in line after all Speakers’ Bureau members when requests come in your area.
